Translation :
who recalled me in the sleep,
who thought of me in the sleep,
keeps me awake all night.
the beloved keeps me up, the heart keeps me up,
even the lamp keeps me up.
I got a hiccup.
there was no message,
and no letter sent (by my beloved)
my eyes have dried (after crying too much) in the month of rains.
the pond is dry,
the keekaR shrub is dry,
and inside (me) it's dry too.
O beloved, the sun has come over the wall,
and all the shade is burned.
how do I cross the courtyard,

these clouds (both, the real and those of heart/eyes) don't listen to me.
Modern Ctiticism :
Hitchki (or Hichki) means a hiccup, and while there are various scientific reasons for it, it's said that someone is remembering you when you get hiccups. At the same time, hiccups are also considered a result of dryness in one's throat, and the poet here talks about everything being dry, and getting hiccups.
In these lyrics I have found some difficult words like तलैया, कीकर.
Some lines are also difficult to understand like
धुप मुंडेरे चढ़ गयो ढोल
जल गायो साड़ी छाँव रे
आँगन पर करून मैं कैसे
तलवे जलए मेरे पाँव के
These lines are difficult to understand and it's very hard to clarify the things.
In short, this poem is about the separation of two lovers. Talking about separa of husband and wife. And we can say that setting in some desert please.
We can say that it's based on virah rasa . Someone's husband is going somewhere and now his wife has separation like anything.
She said that she had a hiccup when his love remembered him. We can assume that lyrics were written when there were no facilities of the internet and phone. She said the whole night she won’t be able to sleep because of hiccup. She wants to say that she badly remembers her husband at night. There were no letters or any sign from his side that is why his eyes were dry in months of rain. Her heart is dry. It's very important and significant the season is rainy but their heart is dray.

This lines want to say that when the evening comes,and the moon rises,
don't make me cry. She is saying that her heart is craving to meet him And this rain makes him crazy.

Modern Criticism :
In this song what difficulties I have faced is that the name of mirziya . The song consist the word Mirziya. In fact the whole song addressed some Mirziya.
So , first thing we have to know about Mirziya.
Mirzya tells the tale of a pair of lovebirds who were never meant to be together. Mohnish (Harshvardhan Kapoor) is a horse groomsman who reconnects with his childhood friend Suchitra (Saiyami Kher), a soon to be princess.
Mohnish and Suchitra are inseparable friends and classmates in high school in Jodhpur. One day, the schoolmaster canes Suchi for not doing her homework. Mohnish cannot bear the sight of her being hurt, and later shoots the teacher with a gun he stole from Suchi's father, a policeman. As a result, he is sent to a juvenile correction facility, and Suchitra's father sends her away to London for higher studies. Mohnish escapes the correction home.
Years later, Suchitra returns to India and is now getting engaged to Prince Karan. She wants to learn riding, and Karan instructs the stable-hand, Aadil, to teach her. Suchitra gets a feeling of deja vu and eventually discovers that Aadil is her childhood friend, Mohnish. The two of them kiss and reconcile.
They become inseparable again, and Suchi tells Aadil to confess to her father that he is ready to seek due punishment for the murder he committed in his childhood. However, when Aadil tries to tell Suchi's father that he wants to make amends for his wrongdoing and wishes to marry Suchi, her unforgiving father and Karan hatch a plot to get rid of him. Karan attempts to shoot him, and although injured, Aadil doesn't die.
Unable to find Aadil anymore, Suchi agrees to marry Karan. On the wedding day, Aadil's friend, a Muslim girl, comes to Suchi's rescue. She ensures Suchi and Aadil escape on his bike, and the lovers elope. They share a few moments of love and freedom on their desert ride. However, when the bike runs out of petrol, they are chased down by the police, Suchi's father, and Prince Karan. Aadil's friend slits her wrists and dies because she knows that if she gets caught, she will have to reveal her friends' whereabouts. Just as they reach the Rajasthan border, Aadil is shot; Suchi swallows poison and they die in one another's arms.
With there information we got the idea that it is about love and separation.
Difficult words for me : Doonge , Sahiban, maarka , teta teenu
Some lines which are difficult for me :

When I read the english translation than came to know that it is about love and separation. Poet wants to say that The sharp sting of separation takes the breath away.

In these lines What difficulties I faced is that i don’t have idea about some hindi words but when I see the traslation of English than it be easy for me to understand lyrics. Teacher, don’t hit me with a cane .Don’t fuel a fire that is already ablaze. We left behind our studies to bring. Words of love written in our notes
